At Midwest Vapor, culture is at the heart of everything we do—how we live, how we work and how we serve the vaping community.

It's not about the advantages or bonuses that come from working at Midwest Vapor, and it doesn't solely exist to make our employees happy (although it does that, too).

Core Value #1

Don't you just hate it when you walk into a store and the first person you see is unwelcoming or disengaged? It immediately sends the message that the employee is unhappy, that this might not be a great place to work, and by extension, is it really the kind of company you want to support with your business?

It is one of Midwest Vapor 9 Core Values to empower our staff to specifically avoid these types of encounters. We do this by encouraging creative thinking and asking our team to make decisions independently of management.



Core Value #2

All of our products go through a unique and rigorous testing process. This process begins with listening to you - our customers.

Whether it's feature requests on an older model eCig, or frequent bugs or issues you're having with your current device, we take it into consideration and do our best to incorporate your requests and desires into our future products.



Core Value #3

What you actually do matters much more than what you say you're going to do.

Anyone can talk a big game or over-promise, but the actual follow-through is what creates lasting success and relationships.

It is one of Midwest Vapor core values to actually do what we tell you we're going to.



Core Value #4

Open communication is hugely important in a business and can be used to improve efficiency and effectiveness all while encouraging transparency internally with the Midwest Vapor team, and subsequently trickling that transparency down into our communication with you, our valued customers!

Straight-forward, real and open communication had to be included in one of our 9 core values.



Core Value #5

In business, as well as life - we are all constantly faced with challenges, times when it's tough to feel confident about what will happen next.

We view challenges as a way to begin again more intelligently - therefore we welcome challenges with optimism and open arms.



Core Value #6

One of the easiest traps successful businesses fall into, is the one where they believe they have all the answers - whether on an individual level or a group level.

At some point, everyone has been the culprit to this mentality, whether they like to admit it or not. So we like to walk into the office in the morning, and try our best to check our ego at the door.


Core Value #7

An innovative culture rests on a foundation of six building blocks: resources, processes, values, behavior, climate and success. These building blocks are dynamically linked.

At times it can he hard to know what the right thing even is. We all become the people we decide to be, which is why doing the right thing is always the right thing to do.

Because doing the wrong thing molds you into the type of person that you don't want to be.

A good idea should be judged on the merit of the idea, and not on the individual submitting the idea.

At Midwest Vapor, we believe in people by first listening to them, giving them the benefit of the doubt and respecting them enough to consider what they have to say and share - not only internally with the team, but with our customers as well.
